Laura Jean Palmer-Moloney, Chair of the Board of Directors, brings 30 years of experience and expertise in problem-based learning, sustainability and systems assessment (water-food-energy), and holistic health to the Stardust-Startup Factory. She also brings her fascination with the stars. She runs her own consulting business, Visual Teaching Technologies, the first client of ABEM Digital Creations (Angus Moloney's internet-based business). She is Angus Moloney's mom. Rhonda Moloney devotes her time to organizations doing great work, such as Feed My People, Girls Hope Boys Hope, Loyola Academy, and Easter Seals. A member of the Walter E Hausettee Foundation, she brings its financial support to the Stardust-Startup Factory. As a woman achieving her goals in a predominately male occupation, Rhonda was the first female firefighter to complete and pass the St Louis County Fire Academy. She worked as a Paramedic firefighter and as a Paramedic in the emergency room before owning and operating her own private investigation company for 26 years. As Angus Moloney's aunt, she cherishes his wonderful life. He had a bright future and big plans; she hopes to carry his torch through this foundation to make some of those dreams come true. Ted Cope brings his passion, vision, energy, intellect, and network to the Stardust-Startup Factory. Retiring after 42+ years of government service, Ted is learning new ways to put a dent in the evil empire of the status quo mindset from the private sector perspective. He inspires those he works with to challenge conventional wisdom. Ted strives to help those he works with imagine, explore, innovate, and ultimately to execute what others thought impossible. He truly embodies the "Rebel Outpost" philosophy. He is currently a consultant for Thermopylae Sciences + Technology, strengthening information sharing initiatives to enhance international law enforcement efforts addressing illicit trade. As Chief Financial Officer at Velocity Sciences since 2014, Jill's extensive financial and operational experience spans multiple sectors including biotechnology and hi-tech. With almost 20 years of experience as the financial leader for companies primarily in early and development stages, Ms. Clark is passionate about start-ups. She has a proven track record of leading companies from angel rounds through multiple private rounds, having raised more than $140M from private equity and venture funding, to successful exits via IPO and acquisitions of approximately $1B. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Administrative Management from Clemson University.
